Axkid Seats - Why are they so safe?

So far Axkid ONE has not won any tests or awards - so how can we claim it is the safest seat we ever built so far?

Short answer:

Axkid ONE is the only rearward facing ISOfix seat on the market approved by the R-129 regulation (i-Size) all the way up to approx. 7 years of age or up to 125 cm/23 kg

Long answer:

Children travelling rearward facing are up to 5 times more protected when compared to children travelling in a traditional forward-facing seat. Children are not built the same as a full-grown adult. The weight of their heads constitutes up to 25% of their total bodyweight meaning that upon impact the neck and head is very vulnerable to trauma. A rearward facing seat distributes the crash forces more evenly and is much better at protecting children’s delicate neck and relatively big heads. Thus, the longer your child can sit rearward-facing in the car, the longer he or she will benefit from better protection.

Axkid ONE is the only rearward facing ISOfix seat on the market approved by the R-129 regulation (i-Size) all the way up to approx. 7 years of age or up to 125 cm/23 kg. ISOfix seats available on the market currently are only approved by the same regulation to accommodate children up to 4 years of age or 105 cm/18 kg. This means that children travelling in an Axkid ONE seat can travel rear-facing for up to 3 years longer than in any other ISOfix seat available on the market today. In other words - Axkid ONE protects your child better for longer than any other ISOfix seat and therefore we claim it is the safest car seat we ever built.

Bonus information

Axkid ONE goes further than being the only rear-facing ISOfix seat approved by R-129 up to 125 cm/23 kg. Many ISOfix car seats that are approved up to 4 years of age 105 cm or 18 kg on the market are small car seats with limited legroom. This means that many parents refute rear-facing prematurely and turn their child forward between the age of 2 and 3,5 years of age.
